If youâre looking for a cosy and homely place to rest your head in the heart of Whitby, look no further than Breckon Cottage! This dog friendly, two bedroom holiday home is perfect for couples retreats and small family getaways.
Located in the centre of the seaside town, youâll have everything right on your doorstep so you can really make the most of your coastal escape. Guests have access to the full property.
The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Pay & display parking is available nearby. Breckon Cottage welcomes a maximum of two friendly dogs per stay. Pets: Allowed (maximum 1). Smoking: Not allowed.

For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay. The cottage is located on the West side of the seaside town making it perfect for revelling in nostalgic seaside charm - head to the arcades or explore the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. Venture over the swing bridge and youâll reach the East bank.
This side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants.
Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary.
You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stokerâs gothic novel âDraculaâ. Step outside of Whitby and youâll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland.

On one side of the room is the cosy living area which includes two sofas and a flat screen TV so itâs the ideal spot to retreat to after a busy day at the beach. The other side of the space includes the kitchen and dining area.
With pale green cabinets and light wood worktops, the kitchen has a traditional and stylish look.
Fully equipped for self-catering stays, youâll be able to make use of the modern amenities and cookware to prepare home cooked meals.
Beautifully decorated, youâll find tasteful nods to the seaside with ornaments and decorations. Enjoy your meals at the dining area which includes a table, matching bench and two dining chairs. Head upstairs and youâll find two bedrooms as well as the family bathroom.
The master bedroom boasts a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a full length mirror.
Ideal for children and teenagers, the second bedroom has twin single beds.
All beds in Breckon Cottage benefit from premium bed linens to ensure you have a blissful nightâs sleep. The family bathroom is decorated with white metro tiles to create an ultra modern look.
