Nea Potidaia, a charming coastal village nestled on the narrow isthmus connecting the Kassandra peninsula with the rest of Chalkidiki, is a hidden gem that offers a unique combination of history, natural beauty, and modern comforts. Its strategic location makes it not only a perfect base for exploring all three of Chalkidiki’s peninsulas—Kassandra, Sithonia, and Mount Athos—but also a destination in its own right, rich in experiences and activities that cater to every kind of traveler. Within 5km from the property a convenient super market can be found, while a selection of restaurants/taverns at just 2km away! At first glance, Nea Potidaia enchants visitors with its postcard-perfect beaches, turquoise waters, and traditional Greek atmosphere. The village itself is built near the ruins of the ancient city of Potidaea, founded in the 7th century BC by Corinthian colonists. While much of the ancient city has been lost to time or lies beneath the modern town, the remnants of the fortification walls and ancient harbor still hint at the area’s historic significance. The village is a wonderful place to simply relax.
